GUESTMIX: BRETT WOOD (ENG):
2011 has been a massive year for Brett Wood, which has seen him break into the mainstream of the UK trance scene. He has gained signings from various labels such as Slinky, Joyride, Nukleuz and Recoverworld, picking massive support up from the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Giuseppe Ottaviani and Gareth Emery to name just a few! On top of all this he also runs Direct Drive Recordings, a label which has seen some huge releases this year from artists such as Steve Allen, Trance Division and Brett himself. On the DJing front he has graced the decks of clubs such as Gatecrasher and Slinky, as well as playing at a whole string of events in both the UK and abroad. 2012 is looking very bright for Brett and Direct Drive Recordings!

GUESTMIX: SCOT PROJECT:

Scot Project is one of those rare artists whose musical style is clearly recognizable throughout the dance music world. His signature sound has helped create the harder side of the Trance and Tech-trance genres in its early years, and defined the direction of trance music towards a more refined and underground sound. With a unique combination of hard percussive elements mixed with melodic trance rhythms, he has become one of the most successful DJs/Producers in the global dance music scene. Learning to mix at the age of 13, Scot Project got his first break in 1986 playing break-beat in a youth club. When the acid house movement hit in 1988 Scot Project was hooked. By 1990 he was a resident of several clubs in and around Frankfurt and was spending his pay cheques on a small but potent studio. Scot Project's first track 'X' was released on Overdose in 1994 shortly after, followed closely by the hugely successful 'U (I Got A Feeling', on Overdose/Positiva which charted throughout Europe. Since then, Scot Project has established himself as one of the biggest producers of the harder edge of Trance genre, with a plethora of remixes and hit productions under his name including mega hits, 'F (Future is now), 'O (Overdrive)' and remixes for Hennes & Cold, Cosmic Gate, Greg Downey, Organ Donors, Lisa Lashes and Yoji Biomehanika. His debut album 'A1' further pushed the evolution of the harder edge of Trance when it was unleashed in 2005. Over the years he has also been responsible for a number of tracks under his Arome, and more recent Supermusique alias, and he is also behind the hugely successful 'Druck Records' label.

Spellbinding Records is a label from Paul Trainer which launched in 2010. The label crosses the boundaries of Trance, Techno, Progressive and everything in between. The label has gained massive support from the likes of Markus Schulz, Paul Oakenfold and Ferry Corsten.

GUESTMIX- STUART MILLAR (N.I.):
Stuart Millar is a trance DJ/Producer from Northern Ireland. He has been a staple of the Northern Irish dance scene for many years, and has played the length and breadth of the country, as well as unleashing a slew of high profile tracks and remixes such as 'Goodnight Sienna' and 'Galactica'. His recent tracks 'Cosmic Dawn', 'The Path' and his bootleg of 'Chase & Status- Time' have further cemented his reputation, with heavy plays from the likes of Judge Jules on Radio 1. Stuart is also a regular on the airwaves, with his regular shows on RTE Pulse and BBC Introducing.

Mark strain (AKA) Mark De Vil has been interested in dance music from the mid nineties. He started DJing in 2002, playing all styles of dance music from house to hardstyle, and now he has focused on electro house and tech trance. He has played at a number of nights around the country and is now hoping to push into the world of production.

DJ Damask (Alexander Dzyuba) is a young trance DJ and producer hailing from the city of ity of Rostov-on-Don in Russia, He started producing hard trance at the age of 15, and from there moved on to tech-trance and progressive. In the last 4 months his released and unsigned tracks gained support from DJ's such as Arnej, Gordon Coutts, Ian Booth and Chris Ward. Josh McCann is an upcoming DJ from Northern Ireland who has been djing since he was 14 years old, and has been spinning at venues across the country for the past four years. He has recently also broken into the production front with his debut track F.M.R. on Redbox Recordings, which come with remixes from Gav Fraser and Malcolm Funktion.

Matthew Dunne is a tech-trance DJ/Producer hailing from Dublin (Ireland) who is set for big things! In the last 17 months Matthew has had releases on such lables as Discover, Slinky, Phase 7, NTR, Vibrate Sounds,Club Educate, V-Breed and more. In 2010 his first tracks 'Catapault' and 'Slingshot' both charted highly, and his follow up productions have consistently hit the top 10 on all download portals such as Beatport, Trackitdown, Audiojelly etc, and have been featured on various Radio 1 with massive support from Judge Jules. His productions have also been supported by the likes of Tiesto, Sean Tyas, Menno De Jong, Sied Van Riel, Matt Darey, Marco V and many more. As a DJ Matthew has warmed up for some of the biggest names in dance music such as Richard Durand, Fred Baker, Tidy Boys, Lisa Pin Up and Kidd Kaos, playing all around Ireland at nights such as Headliners, Blackout, Red Rooms and Eclipse, as well as taking on the role of promoter for his his own highly successful night, Dirty Trancing.
